Directions:  Pick a character from one of your stories...preferably the one you're currently having problems with.  Then answer as many of these questions as you can. Go!  :D

Alternate Directions Using More Than One Character:  (To make the rotation come out even this will work best for 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, or 15 characters)  Pick a random letter from each of your chosen characters' names - make sure the letters are all different.  Then find that letter on the list below and make a note of that number.

A = 13
B = 17
C = 1
D = 14
E = 18
F = 3
G = 7
H = 11
I = 12
J = 25
K = 22
L = 10
M = 5
N = 6
O = 4
P = 19
Q = 9
R = 20
S = 15
T = 26
U = 16
V = 24
W = 2
X = 8
Y = 21
Z= 23

Once you have all the numbers written down, put them in a list with the largest number first and the smallest number last.  That will be the character rotation for the questions.  Here's an example:

My characters are going to be

Veronica Brennan, Danielle Carrolton, Charlotte Nichols

And I've picked the following letters from their names:
Ronnie = B, Dani = L, Charlie  = T

Based on the list above that means that:
B = 17 , L = 10, T = 26

So, my character rotation would be Charlie, Ronnie, Dani.  Thus, question 1 would be about Charlie's fight, question 2 would be about Ronnie's elevator escapades, question 3 would be about who Dani'd get rid of, question 4 would be about Charlie's cooking skills, etc, etc.

Why make it so complicated?  Well...I guess you don't have to...but it helps me keep myself from "rigging" the questions to fit the characters.  :roll:  If you don't think you have that problem, then there are plenty of easier ways to rotate through the questions.  :laughing:

Oh, also, there's no rule that says you have to answer them all (although you can if you want to.)  Instead, you could pick 2 or 3 of them and write something a bit more in-depth.  It's really all up to you.  :)

Alrighty, so without further ado, here are your questions.  Have fun!  :D

1)  Your character gets into a knock-down, drag-out fight with another character.  Who are they fighting and what is the fight about?

2) Your character is trapped in an elevator with someone who REALLY gets on their nerves.  How do they react to the confinement?

3)  If your character could kill &/or get rid of any other character with no repercussions who would it be and why?

4)  Your character decides to cook a meal for someone they care about (friend, family, lover, etc.)  Are they successful in their venture?  Why or why not?

5)  Your character has just been arrested!  What did they do and why?!

6)  Your character suddenly develops and unexplainable and irrational fear of the dark.  How does this new fear affect their day-to-day life?

7)   Your character has been institutionalized (either by choice or not is up to you.)  So, how did it happen and how long will it take before they get out?

8)  A stray animal of some sort has somehow found its way into your character's life - how does he/she react?

9)  Your character just spent 24 hours magically morphed into the opposite gender - describe what their day was like.

10)  What is your character's favorite place to shop?  How do the employees of this store feel about your character shopping there?

11)  What is your character's favorite room in their house and why?  Describe it to us.

12)  How would your character be now if a key event from their past had gone differently?  (i.e. If a parent hadn't died, if they hadn't moved overseas, if they'd married their first love, etc?)

13)  Your character begins to realize that someone is stalking them.  What will they do about it?

14)  If your character had the luxury to spend 24 hours doing nothing but what they truly wanted, how would that day be spent?

15)  Your character has a secret - something they've kept from practically everyone.  They've finally decided to tell someone.  Who do they tell and why?

16)  Your character finds themselves beginning to care for someone or something that they know they shouldn't.  Describe their emotions as they begin to realize and come to terms with their feelings.

17)    Your character decides they need a serious vacation.  Where do they go, what do they do, and how much time do they take off for their relaxation needs?

18) Your character decides it's time to learn something new.  What kind of lessons do they decide to take (music, art, martial arts, etc)?  How successful are they at studying/learning/training?

19)  Your character needs to get permission from someone else in order to do something that's important to them.  However, the person keeps saying, "No."  How does your character react to/deal with being continually denied?

20)    Your character loses and/or misplaces something incredibly important to them.  What methods do they use to go about finding it?  Do they suspect someone of taking it?

21)    Your character runs into someone they haven't seen in a VERY long time.  How do they react to this ghost from their past?

22)    Your character witnesses the death of someone extremely close to them.  How do they deal with the aftermath of such a life-altering event?

23)   Your character is outside when it suddenly begins to storm (thunder, lightening, extreme wind - the works) and there's no shelter in sight.  What do they do?

24)    Your character decides to go somewhere they've never been before.  Where do they go and why?

25)    Your character decides to completely re-vamp their wardrobe.  Why would they do it and what changes would they make?

26)    Your character comes home one evening to find the front door to their home slightly ajar.  How do they react?  What actions do they take?

27)    Your character suddenly discovers that something (or someone) they thought didn't exist actually does.  How do they react?  What actions do they take (if any)?

28)    Your character is being hit on by someone of the same sex (whether it's a stranger or someone they know is up to you.)  How do they react to the situation?

29)    Your character suddenly and inexplicably loses their voice.  Tell us how they handle the situation and how it alters their day-to-day life.

30)    A stranger appears in your character's life claiming to be a long-lost relative.  How do they react to this person?
Okay, so here it is - the long awaited "Part Deux" of my Writer's Block meme. Enjoy, y'all! :D
